My 9-day old bok choy plants. ^___^
By the way, there’s a spot of bother in one of my plants. It seems to be a pepper spot. I don’t think it’s communicable, but oh well. It shall be under observation.
I’ve been updating more frequently lately simply because my plants are growing biggerrrrr! I feel like one proud momma that uses Instagram.
By the way, this was planted last January 13.. so it will be about a month old in 2 days.
2.09.2012 update
The plants are looking quite nicely, don’t you think?

Look at the many pretty leaves!

My Green bucks up close. Not bad, eh?
Oh, and if you’re wondering about my lettuce plants, well, they died. I broke my resolution (as I’ve been doing so quite often this year) but life goes on and we try again. It seemed to just grow to a point, then poof, it died for reasons I am not sure of. I’ll probably try growing them when my pride has recovered.
Plant Update 1.26.2012
It’s been a while since I’ve posted… mainly it’s because it takes time for things to grow. Anyway, without further ado, here are some pictures of my cute little garden.

Those are lettuce seedings, about 5 days old. :)

Another cherry tomato plant in my window farm.

So far, I found out that one of the easiest plants to grow and maintain are cherry tomatoes. I can’t wait for some juicy fruits to appear!
The little things… make the difference. My little thing is planting. -Maathai
Seeing a seed germinate is like getting a glimpse of a miracle as it happens.
Oh my lettuce...(click me!) →
I feel so inspired and overwhelmed seeing pictures like these. I’m excited but at the same time nervous (read: paranoid) that I would just kill my plants (please insert good vibes here).
I want my lettuce plants to be as big as these!
New Year’s Goal: Keep plants alive
I just transplanted some Peppermint (top) and Italian Oregano (bottom) seedlings to my windowfarm system. It’s looking good so far, yeah? I might (meaning, more likely) have hacked off some roots in the process (while having absolutely no idea on what I’m doing exactly) and accidentally removed some leaves, but it’s still going to live, right?
I finally received the other accessories and plant nutrients so that I can actually start growing (or worst case scenario, killing) plants. [thanks Jackie!]
The seedlings are on hydrotherapy just because I’m afraid of depriving them of water… but may be the next thing I should worry about is drowning them. We shall see in due time.
Otherwise, my goal for 2012 is to keep the plants alive and thriving to make a decent cup of tea, fix up a salad, and cook a fragrantly herbed meal.
Happy New Year everyone!
